And even such a seemingly ordinary thing as karaoke that came from Japan. Meanwhile, several things can only be seen in the Land of the Rising Sun.
We have found out some cultural things that can’t be seen anywhere but in Japan.
“When you watch a green man, go and cross the road,” we got this back when we were children. But on some pedestrian crossings in Japan, it’s not a green man that you will see. The symbol you will see is the rabbit Miffy, a character created by Dick Bruna, a Dutch children’s book author. But how did this character get into Japanese culture? It is simple: Miffy resembles a lot to Hello Kitty, the “face” of the famous brand.
