The fire at Notre-Dame de Paris made the whole world in shock and became a personal tragedy for all French citizens. A masterpiece of French gothic architecture had a massive fire on April 15, 2019. According to police investigators, the fire begins at the center of the cathedral’s roof. The reasons behind the tragedy are still being investigated. One of the theories said that the fire may be attached to the construction work that was taking place at the cathedral at the moment of the fire.

Over the 8 centuries of its history, Notre-Dame has been as a religious, cultural, and educational center for the country and the whole world and inspired the famous artists. It resisted for many wars, political and religious conflicts, and it’s so sad that we couldn’t protect it in the 21st century.
